Michael Moore: “Trump is a terrorist and Iran is a great civilization”
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore called Donald Trump a “terrorist” over his threat to destroy the “entire civilization” of Iran.
Michael Moore, the filmmaker and documentarian, described the United States as the “bad guy” in a potential war with Iran, while praising Iran as one of the “greatest civilizations” in the world.
The Oscar-winning director labeled U.S. President Donald Trump a “terrorist” for allegedly threatening genocide, after Trump warned that Iran’s “entire civilization” would be destroyed unless it agreed to a ceasefire to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end a six-week conflict.
He also accused the United States of “interfering” in Iran’s internal affairs for seven decades.
Moore wrote on his personal blog: “Our leaders and media are so stupid that they keep asking questions like ‘Why do they hate us?’ Hate us? They don’t hate us! We hate them! We are the bad guys! If you hadn’t realized this under previous presidents, at least Donald Trump has ripped off the mask and shown you who we really are!”
The Oscar-winning filmmaker’s anger came before Trump announced that he had agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran.
The director of Fahrenheit 9/11 wrote: “Iran is the cradle of one of the greatest civilizations this planet has ever seen.”
“While our ancestors in Europe were still learning how to build huts, the Persians had already written the world’s first declaration of human rights, built a multicultural empire that treated conquered peoples with dignity, and advanced mathematics and medicine by a thousand years ahead of us.”
“These are the people who gave us algebra, medicine, and the Game of Thrones title theme. Despite censorship, Iran still produces some of the world’s greatest filmmakers. The United States has been interfering with and attacking Iran since 1953.”
Moore called on the U.S. military to disobey “illegal” and “unethical” orders, urged Congress to impeach War Secretary Pete Hegseth, and demanded the invocation of the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office.
The outspoken left-wing activist wrote angrily: “No one is coming to save us. We have to do this ourselves.”
