The global red carpet premiere of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” will be livestreamed on Disney+ and Hulu

According to the CinemaDrame news agency, the global premiere event for “The Devil Wears Prada 2” will take place on Monday, April 20 at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time and will be streamed live worldwide via Disney+ and Hulu. A full replay will also be available after the event concludes.
Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway reprise their roles in the sequel, and Disney+ and Hulu subscribers will be able to witness the glamorous event live from Lincoln Center in New York City.
Alongside Streep and Hathaway, the red carpet will feature appearances from Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, director David Frankel, and writer Aline Brosh McKenna.
The livestream will include fashion moments with the cast, celebrity arrivals, interviews with the creative team, and special surprises throughout the evening.
Ahead of the premiere, Streep and Hathaway have begun an international promotional tour. The duo traveled to Mexico City on March 30, attending a red carpet event at the Anahuacalli Museum. They also met fans at Frida Kahlo’s Blue House and participated in a Q&A session. On April 8, the film’s press conference was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul, South Korea.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is set to hit theaters on May 1. Twenty years after their iconic portrayals of Miranda, Andy, Emily, and Nigel, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return to the modern, stylish streets of New York City and the offices of Runway magazine.
The film is directed by David Frankel, written by Aline Brosh McKenna, and produced by Wendy Finerman. Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and Aline Brosh McKenna also serve as executive producers on the project.
