New ‘One Piece’ Season 2 Teaser: Into the Grand Line; Netflix Sets March Premiere Date

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Netflix gifted fans a special Christmas Day treat by unveiling a brand-new teaser for the highly anticipated second season of One Piece. The footage promises an epic expansion of the pirate odyssey as the Straw Hat crew officially ventures into the treacherous waters of the “Grand Line.” The teaser also provides a long-awaited first glimpse at new key characters, most notably the fan-favorite physician, Tony Tony Chopper.

One Piece chronicles the high-seas adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his eclectic crew in a sprawling fantasy world of endless oceans and remote islands, all in pursuit of the legendary treasure known as the “One Piece.” Returning to lead the cast are Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, alongside Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar as the core Straw Hat quintet.

The expansive ensemble sees the return of Vincent Regan (Monkey D. Garp), Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (Alvida), Morgan Davies (Koby), Aidan Scott (Helmeppo), Langley Kirkwood (Captain Morgan), Jeff Ward (Buggy the Clown), Celeste Loots (Kaya), and Craig Fairbrass (Zeff).

Season 2 introduces a massive wave of new talent to the franchise, including:

  • Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace
  • Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0 (Sir Crocodile)
  • Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday (Nico Robin)
  • Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha
  • Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday (Nefertari Vivi)
  • Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra
  • David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3

The cast is further bolstered by Mark Harelik (Dr. Hiriluk), Callum Kerr (Smoker), Julia Rehwald (Tashigi), Rob Colletti (Wapol), Ty Keogh (Dalton), and Clive Russell (Crocus), among many others. The teaser also confirms appearances by Rigo Sanchez as Dragon and James Hiroyuki Liao as Ipponmatsu.

Steering the ship for the new season are showrunners Ian Stokes and Joe Tracz. Filmed on location in South Africa, the production aims to match the massive scale of the Alabasta Saga.

Netflix has officially confirmed that One Piece Season 2 is set to set sail on March 10, 2026.
