Natalie Portman is expecting her third child at the age of 44
According to the CinemaDrame news agency, Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman has announced that she is pregnant with her third child at the age of 44. This will be her first child with her new partner, Tanguy Destable, a French music producer.
In an exclusive interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Portman described the pregnancy as a “miracle” and expressed her gratitude. Referring to her family background (her father is a fertility specialist), she said she has been familiar with the challenges of pregnancy since childhood, and therefore considers this event a great blessing.
Children: Portman has two other children, Aleph (14 years old) and Amalia (9 years old), from her previous marriage to Benjamin Millepied.
Place of residence: She currently lives in Paris and jokingly mentioned that in France, a full-term pregnancy is considered 41 weeks instead of 40, giving her an extra week to enjoy the experience.
Physical condition: To maintain her strength during pregnancy, she practices exercises such as swimming and “Gyrotonic.”
Despite her pregnancy, Portman has had a busy year and has upcoming projects:
- Film “The Gallerist”: an absurdist comedy in which Portman plays an art dealer. The film, which premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, is scheduled for release later this year.
- Series “Good Sex”: a Netflix production written and directed by Lena Dunham, scheduled for release in early 2027. It also stars Mark Ruffalo and Meg Ryan.
Portman has stated that after completing these projects, she plans to focus primarily on her pregnancy and family life.
