Peacock Unveils First Trailer for Ponies Starring Emilia Clarke

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Peacock has released the first trailer for the spy series Ponies, starring Emilia Clarke. The series is co-created by Susanna Fogel, known for The Flight Attendant and The Spy Who Dumped Me, alongside David Eiserson.

Set in Moscow, 1977, Ponies follows two secretarial spies at the U.S. Embassy who, after the mysterious deaths of their husbands, must act as CIA agents to thwart Cold War schemes while unraveling the mystery behind their own widowhood. Other cast members include Healy Lou Richardson, Adrien Lester, and Nicholas Podany.

Fogel serves as director, while Eiserson is showrunner. Jessica Rhodes, Alison Moessinger, and Catherine Bridle are among the executive producers.

Clarke, widely recognized for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones and four Emmy nominations, has recently appeared in Marvel’s Secret Invasion and Amazon’s Criminal.

Ponies will premiere on Peacock on January 16, 2026.
