Has Jeff Bezos Bought a $200 Million Penthouse in Beverly Hills?

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the next time you find yourself stuck in traffic at the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica, take a look around. The construction that has caused lane closures and blocked Merv Griffin Way since last year has been revealed to be the site of Jeff Bezos’s new home.

Informed sources report that the Amazon executive has placed a deposit on a six-bedroom, 17,000-square-foot penthouse in the ultra-luxury residential and hotel development “Aman Beverly Hills.” Located just steps away from the famed Rodeo Drive, the complex is scheduled to open in 2028. The exact price of this penthouse—one of two twin units on the top floor—has not been officially disclosed, but its twin unit, which remains unpurchased, is being offered by Aman at a staggering $200 million. If finalized, this transaction will become the most expensive apartment sale in Los Angeles history, shattering the previous record by nearly five times.

In a coy response to reporters, a public relations representative for Aman stated: “For privacy reasons, Aman does not disclose the identity of its residential buyers.”

Whoever the ultimate owner may be, they will undoubtedly enjoy a life of supreme luxury. The penthouse boasts ceilings over 20 feet high, a private cinema, a gym, multiple kitchens, dedicated yoga decks, and a private rooftop featuring a 20-meter swimming pool and hot tub. Residents will also enjoy access to the adjacent hotel and resort, which offers a full suite of high-end amenities including a spa center, fine dining restaurants, luxury retail boutiques, and a 10-acre botanical garden.

Of course, relatively more affordable units are also available in the complex—for instance, a two-bedroom, 330-square-meter unit on the lower floors is priced at a mere $20 million!
