Madonna launched August with another show from her “Club Confessions” promotional tour series (in support of her new album Confessions II), taking the stage during WorldPride in Amsterdam and surprising attendees by bringing out Kylie Minogue as a special guest performer.
Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock made an unexpected appearance at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery for a special screening of Practical Magic. In addition to celebrating the classic film, the event served as an engaging promotional appearance ahead of the Practical Magic sequel scheduled for release in September. Their new co-stars for the second installment, Joey King and Maisie Williams, were also in attendance.
Elsewhere, the global press tour for the feature film The Odyssey continued as Charlize Theron and Matt Damon arrived in Seoul, South Korea, to attend a press conference and red carpet premiere for the epic film.
