Oscar 2026 Nominees Photo
According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the nominees of the 98th Academy Awards gathered this Tuesday for the annual Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences luncheon and, as in past years, took a commemorative photo.
The event, held at the Beverly Hilton, marked the last meeting of the nominees before the Oscars ceremony on March 15, 2026. This timing made it ideal for capturing the group photo.
Attendees included Jesse Buckley, Tiana Taylor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Michael B. Jordan, Ryan Coogler, Amy Madigan, Emma Stone, Elle Fanning, Chloé Zhao, Jacob Elordi, Rose Byrne, Yorgos Lanthimos, Guillermo del Toro, Wagner Moura, Kate Hudson, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Jafar Panahi.
Jafar Panahi was nominated for Best International Feature for It Was Just an Accident, representing France. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d’Or. In the following months, it became the first Iranian film in history to receive Golden Globe nominations for Best Drama, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.
This year, Sinners by Ryan Coogler set a record with 16 Oscar nominations, while Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another ranks second with 13 nominations, making it one of the most honored films of the year.
