Official First Trailer for Scarpetta Starring Nicole Kidman
According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, Amazon Prime Video has released the first official trailer for the series Scarpetta, starring Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis. The streaming platform has already greenlit production for a second season.
Scarpetta, written by Liz Sarnof, follows K. Scarpetta (played by Nicole Kidman), a pathologist inspired by forensic doctor Marcella Farinelli Fierro, who uses forensic science to solve criminal cases. The series traces Scarpetta’s journey from the late 1990s to the present as she returns to her homeland.
Jamie Lee Curtis plays Scarpetta’s mischievous sister, with Ariana DeBose, Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Rosie MacEwan, Suzy Bick, Amanda Righetti, Michael Vugle, and Jake Cannavale rounding out the cast. David Gordon Green directs the first two episodes.
In recent years, Nicole Kidman has appeared in several TV projects, including HBO’s Big Little Lies and Undoing, Paramount+’s Lioness, and Expats.
Scarpetta will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 11, 2026.
