Harry Styles Jokes About Taylor Swift’s Wedding During Madison Square Garden Concert

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Harry Styles made a brief joke about Taylor Swift’s wedding held at the same venue during his Saturday night performance at Madison Square Garden.
Late in his show, the “As It Was” singer pointed out that the arena is home to the New York Knicks, who won the NBA Championship this year, securing their first title since 1973.
“We are at Madison Square Garden; home of the world champions, the New York Knicks! And of course, they host weddings here too,” Styles told the crowd.
The two pop stars reportedly dated between 2012 and 2013, and many fans believe Swift’s 2014 album 1989—particularly the track “Style”—was inspired by Harry Styles.
Swift’s wedding was one of the most widely covered events of the summer, sparking intense speculation over whether Styles would attend. He was performing a concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on the night of the ceremony, though his fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, attended the July wedding at Madison Square Garden.
People magazine reported in April that the Grammy-winning singer and the Blink Twice director had gotten engaged after Kravitz was spotted wearing a diamond ring.
On July 3, Taylor Swift married NFL star Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in a secretive yet star-studded ceremony. Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, which was attended by prominent figures including Zoë Kravitz, Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Bradley Cooper, Lena Dunham, and Dakota Johnson.
Harry Styles kicked off his 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. The residency marks the sole US stop on his “Together, Together” tour. On opening night, the singer paid tribute to Dolly Parton with a cover of her 1974 classic “I Will Always Love You.”
