Second Trailer for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery
According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the second official trailer for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery reveals that Detective Benoit Blanc is investigating a religiously motivated murder. Written and directed by Rian Johnson, the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and will soon be released on Netflix.
Detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, attempts to solve the “most dangerous case” of his career in this sequel. When identifying a suspect for the impossible murder proves difficult, he teams up with the town’s police chief, played by Mila Kunis, to uncover the secrets of the mystery. Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Andrew Scott, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church also star in this installment.
Craig said in Toronto: “Putting this many stars together in one film is quite literally the definition of ‘herding cats.’ Logistically, it’s a nightmare, but [Johnson] pulled the film together and he was our leader.”
The third Knives Out film will be released in select theaters on November 26, and it will stream on Netflix beginning December 12.
