The Best Paul Thomas Anderson Films According to Over 100 Critics

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, following polls on the filmographies of directors such as the Coen Brothers, Ridley Scott, and Christopher Nolan, World of Reel has published a list of the best films by Paul Thomas Anderson, based on the opinions of more than 100 critics.
In this survey, critics were asked to select their top three Anderson films. There Will Be Blood (2007) received 55 votes, securing the top spot. Starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano, the film tells a story about the origins of capitalism, and themes of greed, power, and isolation. Jonny Greenwood’s score elevates the work further, turning it into an unforgettable cinematic experience.
Boogie Nights, Anderson’s 1997 film starring Julianne Moore, Mark Wahlberg, and Burt Reynolds, ranked second. The film portrays the porn industry in California.
Magnolia and The Master placed third and fourth, respectively, while the newly released One Battle After Another, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, came in fifth with 21 votes and widespread critical acclaim. Phantom Thread, Punch-Drunk Love, Licorice Pizza, Hard Eight, and Inherent Vice followed in the lower rankings.
