First Trailer for 100 Nights of Hero

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first teaser for 100 Nights of Hero, a reimagining inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, has been released. The film stars Emma Corrin, Charli XCX, Nicholas Galitzine, Amir El-Masry, Richard E. Grant, Felicity Jones, and Maika Monroe, and will premiere next week at the Venice Film Festival.

The story follows a man, his innocent bride Cherry (Maika Monroe), and their devoted servant Hero (Emma Corrin), whose lives descend into chaos with the arrival of a beguiling guest. Written and directed by Julia Jackman, the film is adapted from Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel.

In the teaser, the man warns Cherry: “If after 101 nights there is no sign of pregnancy, you will not live to see the spring.” The trailer then cuts to a montage of scenes: Galitzine holding the bloodied severed head of a deer, Charli XCX playing music, and finally Cherry whispering: “I feel a little strange. Please, bring me some water.”

Monroe, last seen in Longlegs, will next star in the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him. Galitzine, meanwhile, recently appeared in Amazon’s The Idea of You and has been cast as He-Man in Masters of the Universe.
