Timothée Chalamet Wins First Critics Choice Award for “Marty Supreme”

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, Timothée Chalamet expressed his gratitude to his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, and his colleagues while accepting the Critics Choice Award for his role as Marty Mauser in Marty Supreme on Sunday night, January 4, 2026.
“I want to thank my partner of the past three years. I love you. I wouldn’t be here without you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he said on stage.
Chalamet, receiving this award for the first time, acknowledged the other nominees in his category, including Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Joel Edgerton (Train Dreams), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Michael B. Jordan (Sinners), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent).
After a brief pause, the 30-year-old actor admitted, “I am more nervous than I thought I’d be.” He then thanked the film’s writer and director, Josh Safdie, saying: “You created a story about an imperfect man with a relatable dream and didn’t preach to the audience about what is right or wrong. I think we should all tell stories like this. Thank you for this dream.”
During the ceremony, Hacks stars Meg Stalter and Paul W. Downs appeared on the red carpet in coordinated bright orange outfits, mirroring the look Jenner and Chalamet wore at the A24 film’s premiere.
Released on December 25, Marty Supreme has already grossed over $64 million and is projected to become the first film in A24 studio history to reach $100 million at the North American box office.
