According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Jack Nicholson has once again drawn public attention at the age of 89, after a rarely seen photo of him was shared by his daughter, Lorraine Nicholson, on social media to mark the occasion.

The image, posted on Lorraine Nicholson’s Instagram Story, shows Jack Nicholson smiling and clapping, with Joni Mitchell also seen applauding beside him. Lorraine did not specify when the photo was taken and only added the caption “89!!”. She also previously shared an older image of her father wearing a Coca-Cola-branded shirt, captioned “89?”.

Lorraine Nicholson had also posted another image of her father on Instagram back in January.

Jack Nicholson’s last public appearance alongside his daughter dates back to NBC’s Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special in February 2025. During the event, he received a strong ovation from the audience and appeared while introducing Adam Sandler’s musical performance.

Lorraine is one of Jack Nicholson’s six children. Her mother is actress Rebecca Broussard, and Nicholson also has a son named Ray Nicholson, who appeared in the film Smile 2.
