Los Angeles Film Critics Association winners: One Battle After Another named Best Film

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) announced the winners of the top cinematic achievements of 2025 on Sunday night. The award for Best Film went to One Battle After Another, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, while Rose Byrne for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You and Ethan Hawke for Blue Moon won in the Best Acting category.
Last year, Anora, directed by Sean Baker, won Best Film and went on to receive five Oscars at the 97th Academy Awards. The Los Angeles Film Critics Association was founded in 1975.
