Season 2 of Kim Kardashian’s All’s Fair is officially in the works

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, a second season of All’s Fair, produced and directed by Ryan Murphy, has been ordered at Hulu. The legal drama, which premiered on 4 November, initially received a 0% score on Rotten Tomatoes and was described as “terrible” and “offensive,” yet it became Hulu’s most-watched original series of the past three years during its first week.
Kim Kardashian stars as a divorce attorney and the owner of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, and Glenn Close also appear in the series.
Jon Robin Baitz, known for Brothers & Sisters and as the writer of Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, penned the script. All’s Fair is the first series Murphy has produced since signing his deal with Disney and 20th Television.
Glenn Close, 78, attempted to defend the 44-year-old Kardashian—who aside from American Horror Story: Delicate has had limited acting experience—against harsh criticism. She told Variety: “She doesn’t pretend to be a great actor. She was smart enough to learn from the people around her.” Close, who has earned eight Oscar nominations, added that she was surprised by Kardashian’s “absolute determination”:
“She always knew her lines. She was never late. She was always prepared. If she’d been full of herself or what I call a ‘life-is-too-short person,’ I wouldn’t have been happy—but she isn’t like that.”
New episodes of All’s Fair will continue to air through 9 December.
