Trailer for Melania Documentary Directed by Brett Ratner, Accused of Sexual Misconduct

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Amazon has unveiled the first trailer for the documentary Melania, centered on Melania Trump. The film follows the First Lady of the United States during the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2025 and is set to be released next year.
According to Amazon, the documentary features “exclusive” footage, offering a look at key meetings and private discussions, as well as “unprecedented access” to “never-before-seen locations.” The film’s tagline reads: “Witness history in the making.”
The documentary is directed by Brett Ratner, who was accused of sexual misconduct by several women in 2017. The filmmaker moved to Israel two years ago and at the time described himself on Instagram as a “proud Zionist.”
The trailer includes footage of Trump saying, “My proudest legacy is peacemaking,” to which Melania adds: “Peacemaking and unifying.”
In an interview with Fox News, which premiered the trailer, Melania said: “It is 20 days of my life before the presidential inauguration, consisting of a rare and defining moment — a moment that testifies to meticulous care, trust, and uncompromising skill. I am proud to share this specific moment of my life — 20 days of intense planning for the transfer of power — with moviegoers and supporters around the world.”
Amazon reportedly paid $40 million to acquire the distribution rights to the documentary and is also set to release another three-episode documentary series about Melania’s travels between New York, Washington, D.C., and Palm Beach.
Following pressure from Trump on Paramount, Ratner is reportedly set to direct Rush Hour 4. Larry Ellison, the father of David Ellison, CEO of Paramount Skydance, is known to have a close relationship with Trump.
The documentary Melania is scheduled for release on January 30.
