Trailer for Y: Marshals unveiled

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, CBS has released the first trailer for Y: Marshals, a spin-off of Yellowstone that focuses on the character Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes. Written and produced by Spencer Hudnut, the series will premiere on Paramount Network and Paramount+ on 1 March 2026.
In Y: Marshals, Kayce Dutton combines his skills as a cowboy and a former Navy SEAL to bring justice to Montana, where he and his fellow marshals must strike a fragile balance between family, duty, and the heavy psychological price they pay in fighting violence. The cast also includes Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, and Brett Cullen. Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham, and Mo Brings Plenty will reprise their roles from Yellowstone.
The series is produced in collaboration with MTV Entertainment Studios and David C. Glasser of 101 Studios. Taylor Sheridan, creator of Yellowstone, will serve as an executive producer alongside John Linson, Art Linson, Luke Grimes, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, and Bob Yari.
In Yellowstone, Kayce Dutton sold all the land at the price of $1.25 per acre to Rainwater and his tribe. He claimed that James Dutton, played by Tim McGraw, had paid that amount in 1883 when the family settled in the region—but on the condition that the land must never be developed, and that he, his wife (played by Kelsey Asbille), and their son (played by Brecken Merrill) would remain on it.
In the trailer, Kelsey Dutton says:
“I fought every day to free myself from the weight of Yellowstone. I lost colleagues, parents, even my own brothers. I know that sometimes good men have to turn cruel. But I’m trying to find a new beginning.”
Y: Marshals will premiere on 1 March 2026.
