Trailer for Season Two of The Pitt

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first trailer for the second season of the acclaimed series The Pitt brings Noah Wyle back as Dr. Michael Rabinowicz, once again at the center of tension and trauma. The first season of The Pitt, which broke away from the conventional structures of medical dramas by heightening tension, was met with critical acclaim and earned a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Each episode of the series, written by R. Scott Gemmill, depicts one hour of Dr. Rabi’s fifteen-hour shift as head of the ER at the fictional Pittsburgh hospital. The season one cast included Noah Wyle, Tracie Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Garan Howell, and Shabana Azmi.
Warner Bros. Discovery announced after the season finale that viewership numbers had consistently increased with each episode. The premiere drew a total of 16.2 million viewers, with growth continuing over all thirteen weeks.
The story of the second season is set during the July 4th holiday, ten months after the events of the first season. Wyle previously told Vanity Fair: “He’ll be facing colleagues who may or may not know about his struggle with addiction.”
Season two of The Pitt will premiere in January 2026.
