Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 2 Suit Going Up for Auction

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the iconic suit worn by Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 will be auctioned on September 4 (September 13, 2025). Propstore announced that the sale will take place at 1 p.m. ET.
Oscar-winning costume designer James Acheson created Maguire’s suit for Sam Raimi’s trilogy. The first Spider-Man, released in May 2002, opened with $114.8 million in the U.S. and Canada and grossed $825.8 million worldwide. Its sequel, Spider-Man 2, earned a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, became one of the most acclaimed superhero films of all time, and grossed more than $784.6 million in 2004. The film was nominated for Oscars in film editing and sound mixing, and won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
Maguire reprised his role as Peter Parker more than a decade after Spider-Man 3, appearing alongside Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
According to Propstore, the suit will start at $50,000, with final bids expected to land between $100,000 and $200,000. The event will be streamed live on the Propstore Auction website.
