** The Summer I Turned Pretty to Continue with a Feature Film**

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the series The Summer I Turned Pretty will continue with a feature-length film. The show’s controversial third season was recently released on Amazon Prime Video.
Jenny Han, author of the The Summer I Turned Pretty novels and creator of the Amazon adaptation, announced in Paris that she will be writing the screenplay for the film. She said: “There’s still one more step left in Belly’s journey, and I felt only a film could truly do it justice.”
The story revolves around a love triangle between a girl named Belly and two brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah, complicated further by the relationships between their mothers and children. The cast has included Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, and Rain Spencer.
On social media, heated debates emerged between fans of Conrad and Jeremiah, with some favoring Jeremiah’s reliability over Conrad’s mysteriousness—or vice versa. Tensions escalated to the point where Gavin Casalegno, who plays Conrad, received death threats, prompting the show’s official accounts to issue a statement addressing the toxic behavior.
Amazon reported that Season 3 attracted 25 million viewers in its first week, with each episode averaging 1.2 million viewers worldwide.
