The Simpsons “Predicted” the Jeffrey Epstein Files 25 Years Ago

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the long-running television series The Simpsons — famous for seemingly predicting future events and moments in popular culture — is believed by some fans to have revealed shocking details about Jeffrey Epstein’s island more than two decades ago. Epstein was accused of sexual abuse and human trafficking.

The series began airing on Fox Broadcasting Company in 1989 and has since been credited with foreseeing events such as the presidency of Donald Trump.

Now, some fans claim that an episode from the show’s twelfth season directly references Epstein and what allegedly took place on his island. The episode, titled The Computer Wore Menace Shoes — a parody of the 1968 sci-fi series The Prisoner — follows Homer Simpson, who launches a rumor blog under the alias “Mr. X.” When his supply of exclusive stories runs dry, he begins spreading fabricated rumors online.

However, one of his fake reports turns out to be true. As a result, Homer is kidnapped and taken to a mysterious island — a grim destination for those who know “too much” about the world’s powerful figures.

The island’s owner tells Homer, “No one ever leaves the island.” But when Homer escapes and returns home, he writes on his blog: “Some very weird people are secretly running the world from an island.”

Clips from the episode have gone viral on social media following the release of additional documents concerning Epstein and his connections with politicians and celebrities. Epstein died in 2019 while imprisoned in Manhattan, in what authorities ruled a suicide, though many continue to speculate that his death was staged.

One Simpsons fan wrote on X: “The Epstein prediction in The Simpsons might be the one that finally breaks my brain.” Another asked: “Did The Simpsons know everything?”
