The first trailer of Good Boy

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first official trailer of Good Boy, a film told from the perspective of a dog, has been unveiled. Directed by Ben Leonberg, the film was first screened at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival, where Indie, the dog, won the very first “Howl of Fame” award. In the festival jury’s statement it was noted: “Indie and his humans remind us that even when darkness threatens to consume us, the love of a loyal dog knows no bounds.”

The story follows a dog named Indie who, after moving into a new house with his owner Todd, discovers an invisible presence. The dog must fight a malevolent force and bring Todd back to life. Larry Fessenden, Arin Friedman, and Shane Jensen star in the film.

Leonberg had previously told Filmmaker Magazine: “My goal was for Indie to behave realistically—or, given the supernatural events of the film, as realistically as possible.”

Good Boy will be released on October 3.
