The Best Coen Brothers Films, According to Over 100 Critics

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, a list of the best films by the Coen Brothers—based on the votes of more than 100 critics—has been published to coincide with the U.S. release of Ethan Coen’s Honey Don’t. The poll was conducted by World of Reel and included critics from outlets such as Collider, The Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter, Film Comment, and many others.

Fargo topped the list with 57 votes, followed by No Country for Old Men with 46, A Serious Man with 28, The Big Lebowski with 27, and Miller’s Crossing with 23.

Known for their darkly comic films, the Coen Brothers have recently pursued solo directing projects. Their last collaboration was The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, released in 2018. They are expected to reunite for a horror film, though the production and release timeline remains unclear.
