Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Donate $26 Million to Charities Ahead of Rumored Wedding

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, A representative has announced that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have donated $26 million to at least 20 charitable organizations ahead of their highly anticipated wedding, which is rumored to take place in New York this weekend.

While the couple has not officially confirmed the wedding, and the announcement of the donations makes no mention of marriage, it is glaringly obvious that the philanthropy is part of this week’s festivities.

The 20 charities include nine food banks, one animal shelter organization, seven educational programs, and three children’s hospitals. The statement simply reads: “This week, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift donated $26 million to charities across the United States, including…”

The 20 organizations are:

  • City Harvest (New York)
  • Food Bank For New York City
  • New York Cares
  • Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
  • Harvesters — The Community Food Network (Kansas City)
  • The Store (Nashville)
  • Helping Harvest (Reading, PA)
  • Rhode Island Community Food Bank
  • Feeding America (National)
  • American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (National)
  • Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (National)
  • GRAMMY In The Schools (National)
  • Education Through Music (New York)
  • Answer the Call (New York)
  • Music Will (New York)
  • After-School All-Stars (New York)
  • After-School All-Stars (Cleveland)
  • MSK Kids (the pediatric cancer program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center)
  • Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone
  • Children’s Mercy Hospital (Kansas City)

While individual amounts for each charity were not specified, New York’s City Harvest released a statement revealing their portion. “We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s generous $1 million donation to City Harvest,” said CEO Jilly Stephens. “This gift is like a love letter to New York.”

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank also issued a statement, with CEO Melissa Cerny thanking the couple for their “unexpected and incredibly generous $1 million gift,” noting that it would go a long way toward providing nutritious food to people in the area.

Country music legend Dolly Parton posted an Instagram video on Friday morning, thanking Swift and Kelce for their $2 million donation to her Imagination Library, joking, “Taylor and Travis, I am just overwhelmed by your generosity. You two clearly make helping others a priority. So when that first baby comes along, can I have him? Because he’s bound to be a special one!”

Swift has a long history of major donations, although they are usually revealed by the recipients rather than the singer herself. Throughout her record-breaking Eras Tour, local food banks in every city she visited announced they had received massive donations from Swift. Other donations in recent years have gone to animal rescues, victims of the Florida hurricane and Tennessee tornadoes, the Los Angeles wildfires, and fans suffering from cancer.

While Swift’s team has not officially commented, reports of a wedding at Madison Square Garden this weekend have been confirmed by workers at the venue. Indications are that a rehearsal dinner took place on Thursday in a smaller room inside the venue, with the main, massive reception set for Friday in the main arena.
