Sydney Sweeney Responds to a Rumor That Has “Everyone Talking” While Hooked Up to a Lie Detector
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Sydney Sweeney addressed a long-circulating rumor about herself while undergoing a lie-detector test. In a video for Vanity Fair, Amanda Seyfried, Sweeney’s co-star in the upcoming film The Housemaid, asks her whether her breasts are real.
Seyfried says, “There’s a question that’s been on everyone’s mind lately, and I have to ask you—are your breasts real?” The 28-year-old Euphoria star laughs and replies, “Yes.” Seyfried then asks whether she has ever undergone cosmetic surgery. Sweeney answers, “No, I’ve never had any kind of surgery anywhere on my body.”
The examiner overseeing the test declares that Sweeney’s answers are “truthful.” At the end of the interview, Seyfried asks whether Sweeney told any lies during the test. Sweeney responds that she did not, and the examiner confirms that she is telling the truth.
Sweeney had previously told Allure that rumors about plastic surgery are untrue: “Let’s just debunk all those rumors. I’ve never had surgery. You have no idea how afraid I am of needles.” She added that comparing photos of her at age 12 with those at 26 makes no sense: “Of course I look different. People on social media have lost their minds.”
In another interview with Variety, she said she has no intention of getting tattoos and would prefer to “age gracefully.”
Elsewhere in the lie-detector test, Sweeney answers Seyfried’s question about what kind of videos appear on her TikTok “For You” page: “It depends on which TikTok account I’m using. If I’m on my private TikTok, my entire feed is filled with historical facts and art and artworks. If I’m on the ‘Syd’s Garage’ page (@syds_garage), unfortunately I see a lot of hate directed at me.” Seyfried reacts by saying, “Syd’s Garage? Your public TikTok page? Damn TikTok!”
