According to CinemaDrame News Agency, MGM+ has released a trailer announcing that the series Robin Hood, starring Sean Bean and Connie Nielsen, will premiere on November 2, 2025.
In this series, following the Norman invasion of England, Robin Hood (played by Jack Patten), the son of a Saxon forester, falls in love with Marian (Lauren McQueen), the daughter of a Norman lord. Other cast members include Lydia Peckham (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes), Steven Waddington (The Trap), Marcus Fraser (Foundation), Angus Castle-Doughty (Shadow and Bone), and Henry Rowley.
Jonathan English serves as producer and director of the first episode, alongside John Glenn (SEAL Team) as showrunner and co-writer of the scripts.
