Release date for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man revealed with first poster

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will debut in limited theatrical release on March 6, and will stream on Netflix on March 20 (29 Esfand 1404). Filming on the project—which concludes the story of the series—wrapped a year ago.

Series creator Steven Knight previously stated that the film, starring Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, will tell a story set during World War II. Tom Harper, who directed Season 1 of Peaky Blinders as well as Heart of Stone and War & Peace, will helm the film.

Alongside Murphy, Paul Anderson, Tom Hardy, Rebecca Ferguson (of Dune and Mission: Impossible), Barry Keoghan (of The Banshees of Inisherin), and Tim Roth (Lie to Me) will also appear.

Season six—the final season of Peaky Blinders—written by Steven Knight, concluded in April 2022. The series won the BAFTA for Best Drama Series for its fourth season and moved from BBC One to Netflix in 2019.

While the story of Peaky Blinders ends with this film, Netflix has greenlit a six-episode prequel series. Knight and Murphy will serve as executive producers on the new show, which will be set in 1953 Birmingham.
