Release Date Announced for Season Five of Emily in Paris
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Netflix has announced—alongside new images—that season five of Emily in Paris will premiere on December 18, 2025. In the new season, Emily, played by Lily Collins, travels to Venice where she faces “professional and romantic challenges.”
Created by Darren Star, Emily in Paris follows the ambitious marketing executive Emily, who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris, tasked with revamping the social media strategy of a French company. Her new life in Paris is filled with exciting adventures and surprising challenges.
Star previously confirmed to Deadline that the season five storyline will also continue in Rome: “She’s working in Rome at times. Sylvie’s company has an office there.” Collins told Good Morning America that she’s eager to explore her character’s relationship with Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini: “Marcello is a completely different kind of adventure we wanted for Emily, because ultimately we’d love to see her find a better balance between work and life.”
The returning cast for season five includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Minnie Driver, Michael Greenberg, and Paul Forman.
