New Images of Nicolas Cage in the Series Spider-Noir

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, Amazon Prime Video has released new images from the series Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage in his first television role. This live-action series, part of the Sony Spider-Universe (SSU), will be presented in both color and black-and-white.
Cage plays private detective Ben Reilly, bringing to life a character from Sony’s animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but this time in live-action. The character was first introduced in February 2009, but had never appeared in live-action until this series.
Spider-Noir tells a story set in 1930s New York, following an older superhero, played by Cage, who must confront his past as the city’s sole protector. In Kami’s comics, this character is Peter Parker from Earth-90214, living in a noir-inspired version of New York.
Li Jun Li (Wu Assassins) appears as a singer, Lamorne Morris plays Robby Robertson, a dedicated journalist, and Karen Rodriguez portrays Ben Reilly’s secretary. Other cast members include Lucas Hedges, Cameron Britton, Chris Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott McArthur, Joe Messingill, Whitney Rice, and Amanda Schul.
Oren Uziel (The Lost City) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher) are the showrunners, while Harry Bradbeer, known for Fleabag and Killing Eve, directs and, alongside Amy Pascal, Christopher Miller, and Phil Lord (creators of the Spider-Verse), serves as executive producer.
Spider-Noir consists of eight episodes and will be released in 2026 on MGM+ and Prime Video.
