Netflix Unveils First Teaser for “Pride and Prejudice” Limited Series

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the first teaser for the upcoming six-part limited series Pride and Prejudice, based on Jane Austen’s seminal novel, has been released. This new adaptation is written by Dolly Alderton, known for Everything I Know About Love. Eurosys Lyn is set to direct and will also serve as an executive producer on the project.

Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden (Slow Horses, Benediction), and Oscar winner Olivia Colman (The Favourite) star as Elizabeth Bennet, Mr. Darcy, and Mrs. Bennet, respectively. Rufus Sewell (The Diplomat) appears as Mr. Bennet, while the rest of the Bennet sisters are portrayed by Freya Mavor (Jane), Rhea Norwood (Lydia), and newcomers Holly Avery (Kitty) and Hopey Parrish (Mary). The ensemble cast further includes Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourgh, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, and Sianna Kelly as his sister, Caroline Bingley.

Written in the early 19th century, Pride and Prejudice is a timeless tale of love and social class, following the journey of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy as they navigate various obstacles in their path to romance.

The Pride and Prejudice limited series is scheduled to premiere in the fall of 2026.
