Netflix Releases First Trailer for The Woman in Cabin 10
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for its film adaptation of The Woman in Cabin 10, starring Keira Knightley, Guy Pearce, Hannah Waddingham, Kaya Scodelario, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Daniel Ings, Art Malik, David Morrissey, and David Ajala.
The story follows a journalist named Lo (played by Knightley) who, one night, witnesses a passenger being thrown overboard from a ship. With no one willing to believe her, she must risk her life to uncover the truth.
The film is directed by Simon Stone, known for The Daughter and The Dig, with Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse writing the screenplay.
Stone previously told Collider: “I wanted Lo to be more like the protagonists of paranoid thrillers from the 1970s—Dustin Hoffman, Robert Redford, Gene Hackman in The Conversation. You never doubt them. You believe they’re right. That’s what I wanted for Keira.”
The Woman in Cabin 10 will premiere on Netflix on October 10.
