“King of the Hill” Continues to Season 17; FX to Produce Season 2 of Adults

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Hulu has announced an order for two new seasons of the revived series King of the Hill, totaling 20 episodes. In January 2023, the network ordered 20 new episodes of King of the Hill, written by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels. The first ten episodes aired last summer as Season 14, breaking Disney+ and Hulu’s five-year premiere record. Season 15 is set to air in 2026.

Mike Judge, the series creator, has returned to voice Hank Hill and Boomhauer, while Katy Najimy returns as Peggy, Pamela Adlon as Bobby, and Stephen Root as Bill Dauterive. Hank and Peggy return to Arlen, Texas, after several years living in Saudi Arabia, and Bobby, now in his twenties, has been pursuing culinary arts in Dallas.

Meanwhile, FX confirmed on Thursday that production of Season 2 of the series Adults, written by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Sha, is underway. Season 1 of the show premiered in May.

The series follows a group of twenty-somethings in New York trying to be good people. They live together in one character’s family home, sharing everything from meals to their anxieties. The main cast includes Malik Alssal, Lucy Fryer, Jack Inanen, Amita Rao, and Owen Teal. Charlie Cox, Rachel Marsh, John Reynolds, Julia Fox, and Daris Carden appear in guest roles.
