Jennifer Lawrence and Apple Team Up Again for Romantic Comedy ‘One Month Mark’

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence has partnered once again with Apple Studios to star in and produce a brand-new romantic comedy titled One Month Mark.
Lawrence will star in the film, which is based on a screenplay by writer, director, and actress Sophie Fleur de Bruijn. The official synopsis reads: “A woman who has never been able to make a romantic relationship last longer than a single month meets a man who has never been able to live for more than a single month without being in a relationship.”
The project will be produced by Apple Studios, with David Ready, Brady Fujikawa, and Peter Chernin serving as producers under the Chernin Entertainment banner. Additionally, Jennifer Lawrence and her business partner, Justine Ciarrocchi, will produce through their company, Excellent Cadaver, alongside de Bruijn, who serves as an executive producer.
A Fourth Collaboration with the Tech Giant
This project marks Jennifer Lawrence’s fourth collaboration with Apple Original Films. She recently wrapped filming on What Happens at Night, directed by Martin Scorsese and co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Previously, Lawrence collaborated with Apple as both an actress and producer on the drama Causeway, and as a producer on the critically acclaimed, Peabody Award-winning documentary Bread & Roses.
The film also represents Sophie Fleur de Bruijn’s second collaboration with Apple. Last year, the company acquired the rights to her feature directorial debut, Early Action, which is currently in development under the supervision of Kevin Walsh.
