First Trailer for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery Released

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. Written and directed by Rian Johnson, the film recently screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews.
Detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, attempts to solve his “most dangerous case yet” in this sequel. The cast includes Mila Kunis, Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Andrew Scott, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
A critic from The Wrap praised Josh O’Connor’s performance: “The newcomer to the franchise not only delivers outstanding comedic timing but also brings an immense charm to the film, which is exactly what the story is about. This is Johnson’s most masterful and most emotional murder mystery yet.”
Craig remarked in Toronto: “Getting all these stars together in one film is literally the definition of herding cats. Logistically it’s a nightmare, but [Johnson] pulled it together and was our leader.”
The third Knives Out installment will have a limited theatrical release on November 26 before streaming on Netflix starting December 12.
