First Trailer for The Housemaid Starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first trailer for The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig, has been released. The film, starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, is a cinematic adaptation of the novel of the same name by Freida McFadden.
In the film, Sydney Sweeney plays a character named Millie, a young woman excited to start over as a housemaid for a wealthy couple named Nina and Andrew. However, she soon discovers that the family is hiding dangerous secrets. The screenplay is written by Rebecca Sonnenshine.
Brandon Sklenar and Italian actor Michele Morrone (365 Days) also star in the latest work from the director of A Simple Favor and Bridesmaids.
It was previously announced that the Paul Feig film would be released on December 19, one week ahead of Avatar: Fire & Ash.
Speaking to Variety about the film, Amanda Seyfried said: “I don’t know how to explain The Housemaid, but I watched it a few nights ago, and I hadn’t had that much fun in a movie theater in a long time—I don’t even know the last time I laughed so much, while watching my own movie!”
Feig told Rotten Tomatoes: “Many times when you adapt a book, you find out it’s not that great, and then you try to improve it. That’s happened before, but this book is excellent. It’s a very good work.”
Lionsgate will release The Housemaid on December 19.
