First Trailer for Action Sequel SISU: Road to Revenge
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Finnish writer-director Jalmari Helander returns this fall with SISU: Road to Revenge, the sequel to his 2023 hit. Described as “a cinematic event packed with nonstop action,” the newly released trailer confirms the promise.
In this installment, “the man who refuses to die,” once again played by Jorma Tomilla, returns home to find his family brutally murdered during the war. He demolishes his house, loads its remains, and vows to rebuild it in a safe place in honor of his family. But when the Red Army commander responsible for their deaths—played by Stephen Lang (Don’t Breathe)—returns to finish his mission, a relentless chase and deadly showdown begins. Richard Brake (3 from Hell) also joins the cast.
The first Sisu (2023) followed a gold prospector in the waning days of World War II who clashed with a group of Nazis that stole his gold—only to discover he was no ordinary miner.
SISU: Road to Revenge will be released on November 21, 2025.
