Emmy Awards 2025: Historic Wins for The Studio and Owen Cooper; The Pitt Named Best Drama Series

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards were held Sunday night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, hosted by Nate Bargatze. The Pitt won Best Drama Series, The Studio triumphed in Best Comedy, and Adolescence took home Best Limited Series.
Apple TV+’s Severance led with 27 nominations, including Best Drama and seven acting nods, while HBO’s The Penguin followed with 24. The Studio made history, setting a new record for the most nominations ever for a debut comedy with 23.
