Damage to the Home of Renowned Iranian Director Abbas Kiarostami in U.S. and Israeli Attack on Tehran

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, Ahmad Kiarostami wrote on his personal social media page:

*”Last night, Chizar neighborhood was hit, where both my mother’s and father’s houses are located. That same night, my mother called and, with a trembling and broken voice, informed me that she was safe. But this morning, I learned that my father’s house had been damaged.

I do not know the extent of the damage; whether, as I heard, only the windows and glass were affected or if it was more serious.”*

The following day, he added:

“The damage to the house was limited and only involved broken windows.”
