Black Phone 2 to Hit Digital Platforms 18 Days After Theatrical Release

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Black Phone 2, starring Ethan Hawke, will arrive on digital platforms 18 days after its theatrical release. The R-rated horror film, which ranked as the second-highest-grossing movie in the U.S. last weekend, is set for digital release on November 4, 2025. The film’s theatrical run began on October 17.
The sequel follows the character The Grabber (played by Hawke) after his mysterious return to life. Meanwhile, Finney, now 17 years old, struggles with lingering trauma from his previous abduction. The cast also includes Ariana Rivas, Demián Bichir, Miguel Mora, Misson Thomas, Mio Beatty, Graham Abbey, Madeleine McGraw, and BAFTA and Emmy winner Jeremy Davies.
The first Black Phone, directed by Scott Derrickson and written by C. Robert Cargill, was released in the summer of 2022 and grossed $161 million worldwide. The sequel, produced on a $30 million budget, has recently surpassed the $100 million mark at the global box office.
