Trailer for Pressure: Brendan Fraser as Eisenhower

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Brendan Fraser stars in the World War II drama Pressure, portraying General Dwight D. Eisenhower at a critical moment in history. Andrew Scott, Kerry Condon, Damian Lewis, and Chris Messina also star in the film.
Pressure centers on Eisenhower, played by Fraser, and Captain James Stagg, a Royal Air Force meteorologist portrayed by Andrew Scott. In the days leading up to the Allied invasion of Normandy, France, in 1944 to liberate Western Europe, they assess the risks of Operation D-Day, including the unpredictable weather conditions.
In the trailer, Fraser declares: “This is the largest seaborne invasion in history. The final decision on the timing of D-Day rests with me, and me alone.” Scott adds: “The storms we’re talking about are real. And so is the fury of nature.”
Anthony Maras, known for Hotel Mumbai, directs the film and co-wrote the screenplay with David Haig. Producers include Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Cass Marks, and Lucas Webb.
Fraser won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Whale, directed by Darren Aronofsky. He has since appeared in Killers of the Flower Moon, Brothers, and Rental Family, and is set to reprise his role as Rick O’Connell in a new installment of The Mummy for Universal Pictures.
Scott’s 2025 projects include Back in Action, Blue Moon, and Wake Up Dead Man.
Focus Features will release Pressure in theaters on May 29, 2026.
