Trailer for “Imperfect Women” Starring Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, the trailer for “Imperfect Women” has been unveiled by Apple TV+. The series stars Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, and Kate Mara. Based on the novel by Araminta Hall and written and executive produced by Annie Weisman, the show will premiere on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
“Imperfect Women” will debut with two episodes, with new installments released weekly through April 29.
Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, and Kate Mara play three friends who have known each other since college. However, the unexpected death of Nancy, portrayed by Kate Mara, throws their lives into turmoil. Mary, played by Elisabeth Moss, and Eleanor, played by Kerry Washington, begin searching for answers.
In the trailer, Nancy says: “Part of me believes we’ll make it through all of this safely. But the louder part of me thinks we should burn everything down.”
At the end of the video, a voice says: “Whatever it was between the three of you, I don’t even know what to call it—but it wasn’t friendship.” The trailer then shows Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington sitting in an interrogation room.
The series also stars Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Audrey Corsa, Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Violet Brinson, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Ana Ortiz, Wilson Bethel, and Sherri Saum.
The series is a joint production between 20th Century Studios and Apple. It marks Annie Weisman’s latest collaboration with Apple TV+ following the comedy-drama Physical starring Rose Byrne.
Lesli Linka Glatter, known for her work on Homeland and Love & Death, has directed the first, fourth, and fifth episodes.
