First Trailer Released for Charlize Theron’s “Apex”

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for the film “Apex,” starring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton, and directed by Baltasar Kormákur. Kormákur is best known for directing 2 Guns, starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, and Everest, featuring Jason Clarke and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The film follows a grieving woman who seeks solace in the wilderness, only to find herself ensnared in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a serial killer. Eric Bana also stars in the film, which features a screenplay by Jeremy Robbins.
Theron previously starred in The Old Guard for Netflix and is set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, The Odyssey, next summer. Her other upcoming projects include the Amazon MGM Studios film Tyrant. Taron Egerton recently starred in Carry-On, while Eric Bana leads the Netflix series Untamed.
Regarding the film’s production in Australia, Kormákur stated: “The unparalleled landscapes, studio facilities, and talented crew in New South Wales were a blessing for this film.”
“Apex” is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 24.
