First Look at Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista in “The Wrecking Crew”

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, MGM Studios has unveiled the first official images from the film “The Wrecking Crew,” starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. The movie is directed by Ángel Manuel Soto, who is best known for directing Blue Beetle.
The story follows two half-brothers—one a loose-cannon cop played by Momoa, and the other a disciplined Navy SEAL played by Bautista. The duo must work together to solve the mystery of their father’s murder in Hawaii. The ensemble cast includes Claes Bang, Temuera Morrison, Jacob Batalon, Frankie Adams, Maia Kealoha, Stephen Root, Miyavi, and Morena Baccarin.
Momoa and Bautista previously collaborated on the Apple TV+ series See. The screenplay is written by Jonathan Tropper, the creator of the series Warrior.
In recent years, Bautista has appeared in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and My Spy: The Eternal City. His upcoming projects include Alpha Gang and Road House 2. Momoa’s recent credits include Fast X and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and he was seen this year in A Minecraft Movie. Next year, he is set to return in Dune: Part Three and has Supergirl and Street Fighter lined up for theatrical release.
“The Wrecking Crew” is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on January 28, 2026.
