Season 2 of The Paper Ordered at Peacock

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Peacock has greenlit a second season of The Paper just one day before the premiere of its first season. Produced by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, the series is a spinoff of the U.S. version of The Office. While it introduces a new cast, Oscar Nuñez reprises his role as Oscar Martinez.
The show’s synopsis reads: “When the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch goes looking for a new subject, they discover a historic, struggling newspaper in the Midwest, where the publisher is trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.”
The ensemble cast includes Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, Ramona Young, Alex Edelman, Tim Key, Eric Rahill, Dedwin Shepherd Sr., Nate Jackson, Allan Havey, Mo Welch, Nancy Nenhann, Tracy Letts, Molly Ephraim, Bamisola Ikumelo, and Oscar Nuñez, reprising his role as Oscar Martinez.
Season 1 of The Paper will premiere on Peacock on September 4.
