Trailer for Anniversary Starring Phoebe Dynevor and Dylan O’Brien

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Anniversary, starring Dylan O’Brien, Phoebe Dynevor, and Diane Lane. Directed by Jan Komasa, the film will hit theaters in October.
The story follows a man named Josh (played by O’Brien), who brings his new girlfriend Liz (Dynevor) home—only for his mother Ellen (Lane) to disapprove of her, as Liz was once her former student. The cast also includes Kyle Chandler, Zoey Deutch, McKenna Grace, and Daryl McCormack.
In the trailer, Lane’s character says: “Our son’s new girlfriend is one of my former students. She has radical beliefs.” In another scene, she adds: “I don’t think it’s a coincidence she’s attached herself to Josh.”
O’Brien’s character confronts Lane in a tense exchange: “Can you pretend to be happy? You couldn’t soften him your way. You’re losing your mind.”
Komasa, known for Good Boy, directed the film from a screenplay by Laurie Resnick-Gambino and also serves as one of its producers.
Anniversary will be released on October 29.
